Here are my Parti's for the courtyard that is shown on each floor of the building. The courtyard is not literal in the sense, but on each floor it is a centralised room of open space and light that is the main living area. Most circulation is also in these rooms and they are the main living areas (bedroom 1f, living room gf) so i interpreted these rooms as internal courtyards. There relation to one another is shown in the section, they draw the house from the chimney and create an open closed relation between the courtyard, the chimney; and the corridors that envelop the chimney. These relations create differing senses of privacy and publicity throughout the house at every cornice.
