Below are the Parti's for my interpretation of the dual corridor present in Villa Venturi. On the ground floor we see a distinct corridor at the entrance area and another on past the chimney around the ground floor entries to the living quarters. In essence these corridors sandwich the chimney heightening its strength. This 'sandwiching' is taken a step further on the second floor, the corridor literally wraps around the chimney heightening further its importance and its structural mass. The third picture shows the relation of the two floors and the stair corridor.
